We’re gearing up for some new Etherkreet releases.
Ezra’s new album Atonotoop will be an audiovisual release.
I’m working on the videos right now and this is one of the first textural experiments I did.

No (digital) animation from me this time, but more of a hands on and improvised approach. Why? You might ask. Well, first of all I wanted to get away from the computer for a bit. Secondly I also wanted to be able to perform this kind of work live.
The final video will be a real time, one shot affair without any layering. Only some colour correction and cleaning up will be done afterwards.
The audio part of the piece will be a longer version of the track which starts at the 2 minute mark in this vid.

Finally here’s some audio as well.
My remix of Ezra’s track Ademstulp.

A live improvisation by Thomas Haighton and me in Amsterdam’s “Smart Project Space”.

Zierter’s Spat

December 12, 2008

A dripping wet sounding piece of mine. It sort of dries up near the end, finishing rather airy. 7′

Krkkl

September 7, 2008

For this one I made dense blocks of sound that move slowly as a whole but still have many different smaller gestures and details inside. To make space for these smaller things I tried to make the blocks as large as possible, in an acoustic sense (with spatially wide & surrounding sound) but also in the sense of them developing slowly and articulated. Loud. 23′
